Many of our cakes are inspired by favorite tropical fruits and flavors that we could only get when we spent time in Hawaii. In other words, we had to learn to make them to enjoy them here on the mainland. Others are just favorites -- old and new.
We are happy to say that we are still using a local organic flour, coconut milk with no preservatives, cane sugar, fresh eggs, juices and nectars with no high fructose corn syrup.
Here's roughly what you can expect to pay. The second price is for that size of cake in chocolate:
Our most popular -- two layers of guava-flavored chiffon cake, drizzled with our freshly made guava sauce (inside and out), nestled between just the right amount of whipped topping.
Baked, layered and dressed in the same manner as the Guava Chiffon Cake, but flavored with lilikoi (passion fruit/maracuya) or mango. You'll know the difference between the lilikoi and the mango by their sauce signature on top of the cake. The lilikoi cake has stylized "L"s, and the mango "M"s.
The hardest to get right, but we did it! This is two layers of a moist golden chiffon cake. Haupia is between the two layers, and in the topping, too. Lastly, it's topped with sweetened coconut flakes.
*Haupia = Hawaiian coconut pudding (no dairy)

Our second most popular cake! It's moist chocolate chiffon cake sandwiching a layer of haupia. It's got the same haupia topping as the Haupia Cake, and is topped with sweetened coconut flakes and cocoa-dusted coconut flakes.
This cake is a Hawaiian favorite. It's a "chocolate cake" with this gorgeous, glossy, chocolate pudding-like top. Ours is two layers of chocolate chiffon cake, and the rest of the cake is the chocolatey, pudding-y goodness. We don't use milk chocolate in the pudding, so it has great cocoa/chocolate flavor with no bitterness and the right amount of sweetness. If you like chocolate cake, this is one to try.
This cake is made up of two layers of our tender, moist golden or chocolate chiffon cake. The middle of the cake is a layer of whipped goodness flavored with real almond extract and crushed perfectly toasted almonds. The cake is also topped with the almond topping and a bunch more of the thinly-sliced, perfectly toasted almonds. If you like almonds, you will enjoy this cake.
Pretty much traditional carrot cake with a tropical twist -- instead of raisins and nuts, it has crushed pineapple and coconut, and just the right amount of spices. Of course, our tropical carrot cake has cream cheese frosting -- it isn't carrot cake without the cream cheese frosting. :) Our frosting isn't too sweet, you'll still get that cream cheese bite.
This is a moist, thick, single layer spice cake with pieces of mango throughout (similar in texture to a carrot cake). Like a carrot cake, it's topped with cream cheese frosting (of course!), and garnished with coconut. This is a comfort cake. :)
If there is something we can make especially for you that you don't see here yet, let us know.
